Polymarket Smart Money Tracker: Who Is Actually Winning, Market by Market

What 'smart money' means on Polymarket, how it is computed from on-chain fills, and how to watch it per market, per category and in real time on a dashboard.

“Smart money” is only useful if it is defined. On Polydune (data by Polynyx Analytics) a wallet counts as smart on a market if it is ranked in the top 500 of that market’s own category, or classified Sharp (high ROI over many resolved markets) or Whale ($100k+ realized profit) — with arbitrage and market-maker bots excluded. Rankings come from net realized P&L rebuilt from fills, not the profile number.

Per market: who holds what

The smart money widget lists each side’s smart wallets with shares, buy-weighted entry and win rate, plus the aggregate “follow” line: the side the sharps hold most and their average entry. If the market trades at 0.51 and the sharps entered at 0.46, you know both the lean and the price they paid for it.

Across a category: conviction and divergence

The conviction widget aggregates smart flow per outcome over the last 24 hours (72 hours pre-game): how many smart wallets agree, net dollars, and divergence — the smart share minus the market price. Sorting by divergence is the fastest way to find where informed wallets disagree with the crowd. The politics dashboard does exactly this.

In real time: the tape

The live tape shows every taker trade with the trader’s rank and badge. Group it by wallet and sum the buys and you have “who is buying right now” — the widget on every niche dashboard.

None of this is advice. Edges decay as they are crowded; the point of seeing the entries is to know what you are paying relative to the people with a record.
