- What is the Polydune Polymarket API?
- A REST API over Polynyx Analytics' layer on Polymarket (the data provider behind Polydune): live markets and odds, the smart money (top-ranked, Sharp and Whale wallets) holding each market, a leaderboard of 200,000+ wallets rebuilt from on-chain fills, full trader track records, the live trade tape, smart-money conviction and the model's live signals. It is the same data Polydune dashboards show, with the premium fields (wallet identities, entries, win rates) included.
- Is there a Polymarket MCP server?
- Yes. https://polynyx.com/mcp is a Model Context Protocol server (Streamable HTTP) exposing every API capability as a tool, so Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT and any MCP-capable agent can ask questions like 'who is the smart money on this market?' or 'which sharp wallets are long Bitcoin this week?' and get live, cited answers. One API key works for both the REST API and MCP.
- How much does the Polymarket API cost?
- Hobby is $49.99/month (50k requests, 120/min, 3 keys, commercial use). Developer is $149.99/month (500k requests, 600/min, 10 keys, priority support). Scale is priced to your volume — contact melon@dexhunter.io. The API is a separate subscription from Polydune dashboards; one key works for REST and MCP.
- How is this different from Polymarket's own API?
- Polymarket's Gamma and CLOB APIs give you raw markets, prices and order books. Polynyx Analytics adds the intelligence layer on top: who the profitable wallets are, what they hold and at what entry, bot filtering, win rates computed from resolved markets, category rankings and model signals — the analytics you would otherwise have to rebuild from 500M+ fills yourself.
- What are the rate limits and quotas?
- Each key has a per-minute limit and each account a monthly quota, both returned on every response in X-RateLimit-* and X-Quota-* headers. Over the limit you get HTTP 429 with a Retry-After. Responses are served from the same hot cache as the app, so typical latency is tens of milliseconds.
- Can I use the data commercially or in a trading bot?
- Yes — every API plan allows commercial use, including trading bots, dashboards and paid products; Developer and Scale also allow redistribution. Nothing here is financial advice — prediction markets are risky.
